Earth Mother: A tribute to my mom.

You see beauty and you see life in a world overlooked by most. Your eyes celebrate the small and give support to the large. Your curiosity unfolds like a morning blossom. Your smile warms like the rising sun. I am so proud that my mother is an Earth Mother.

In a spirit’s garden, we celebrate the morning. In the morning, we are reminded to shine back onto the sun the light of our life. Our lights are diverse and that is beautiful.

The morning dew is rich with fragrances. Inhale deeply and the morning reminds us to exhale back onto the world a breath of life. Our breath is shared and that is beautiful.

In a spirit’s garden, we celebrate diversity. Without diversity life is dull.

In a spirit’s garden, we celebrate growth. We nourish our bodies with food from the garden to grow into something beautiful.

In a spirit’s garden, we celebrate community. Sometimes we fit in and some times we stand out. In either case, it is best to be yourself.

In a spirit’s garden, we celebrate wisdom. To be wise requires perseverance. Learn from the bad and remember the good. Your efforts will flourish and you will be wiser.

In a spirit’s garden, we celebrate the beginning. The beginning reminds us enjoy the wind as it cradles our youth and teaches us to fly.

In a spirit’s garden, we celebrate home. Having a home is wonderful and it reminds us that sharing your home with family and friends is wonderful too. After all, our homes are all the same. Every living creature calls the same place home, and in the spirit’s garden you will be happy to know we celebrate as one.

In a spirit’s garden, we never stop celebrating.
